- What is included in the membership?
Along with the workout gym equipment, members are welcome to use the pool, jacuzzi, sauna, steam room, and racquetball court at no extra charge. Members may also participate in the free instructed classes even our yoga and pilates! - How does personal training work?
Members have the opportunity to receive 1/2 price personalized training program for up to one year of joining Fitness 2000. Our fully certified Fitness consultants are eager to help you get started in your health style direction. Book as soon as possible so that you may achieve your results within weeks. - Are all the staff certified?
All the staff are fully certified as fitness leaders through the BCRPA and have experience in fitness training, kinesiology, and various sports activities. - Do you offer nutrition counseling?
We will help members with planning their diets according to the goals they have targeted. - What are your busiest times?
Our peak hours are from 5:00pm to 7:00pm, Monday to Thursday. Our long flexible hours allow members to workout throughout the day without the club getting extremely busy - What type of clientele use your gym?
Our club has members of all ages and levels of experience. Our facilities include a large gym for the more experienced members who require more advanced equipment and a smaller gym for members wanting to develop and maintain fitness. - How is the parking availability?
We have plenty of parking in several areas around the club. Ask our staff or follow the signs and you will easily find a spot. - What are the gym hours?
Our gym hours are Monday to Friday 6:00am - 10:00pm, Saturday 8:00am - 7:00pm, and Sunday 8:00am - 6:00pm. Note: The Big Gym is open Monday to Thursday 6:00am - 12:00 midnight. - Is there a "membership lock-in"?
Unlike other gyms, our members are not locked into a contract. Our freestyle, monthy package can be cancelled at any time with 30 days notice. - Where is the gym located?
We are located in the Lougheed Village beside Lougheed mall. Our address is 9304 Salish Court, Burnaby. Simply take lougheed and turn at Bell Avenue and immediately take a right on Salish Court. Proceed to the end of the cul-de-sac and enter the Lougheed Village. - Are the any different membership rates?
Everyone pays the same low rate except seniors who receive a special discount. - Do I have to pay if I go on vacation?
Unlike many clubs, we have a freeze policy, which allows members to put their membership on hold so that they do not lose the time they pay for.
